About

About this blag

I was always told that with age would come the realisation I am my mother. I refused to acknowledge these insane claims and laughed off the informers as deluded quacks. “I am totally unique, man, and I will not be anything like that crazy old broad” was my cry.

However, it has recently come to my attention that in my 20’s I am becoming eerily similar to Mummy dearest. With the cooking and the cleaning and the knitting and the swearing whilst undertaking all of the above. Crrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeepy.

This blag will document my travels in the universe and my inevitable slide towards becoming my Mum.

Why thatswhatyourmumsaid? I have an infuriating habit of decrying this sentence after pretty much everything anyone close to me says. Oh, and of course, it describes my current situation; I am now unwittingly doing what my mum said. Darn her trickery!
