ohmigod, i am far too emotional to watch stuff like this… “What if that drop was your daughter” i am crying, literal tears dripping down my face. i hate myself sometimes, for wondering how to spend the extra money i got this week.
Oh, I am sorry, I didn’t want to make you cry! I read the book last year and it is amazing – Peter Singer is so good at pointing out that most of our excuses for not giving are pretty poor. He has a table at the back with suggestions for how much to give, but he starts it at I think around $50000-$60000 yearly wage, so basically if you earn under that he wouldn’t push it!
I would recommend reading the book though; it really is very good
ACP beauty sales… Ive been working for ACP Magazines, the publishers of like cleo, cosmo, harpers and a zillion other mags. and every so often the beauty departments has sales to get rid of all the stuff they’ve been given to review for the mag etc and give the cash to whatever charity. so its win win!
