Ways I have channelled Mum this week
- I cooked these:
Earl Grey Tea cookies at Shutterbean
Honey and Pistachio Biscotti at A Cozy Kitchen
Both were delicious and very easy to make which is a lovely feature when cooking. I also made a Mangomisu (Tiramisu with Mango instead of coffee/chocolate) and Banoffee Pie for Christmas Day. Yummo!
- I bought an ‘Australian Women’s Weekly’ magazine. I don’t quite know why
- I continued knitting this scarf during this Australian summer weather. Kinda loopy
- I am looking to buy thankyou cards and blank note-cards to use throughout the year
- I cleaned the mirrored doors in my bedroom
What did you do this week that made you realise you are your mother?

Ha! I was home this week WITH my mother and I realised we’re both weird that we can’t keep our eyes shut when we’re told (ie getting eyeliner tattooed on, having eyelashes tinted), for some unknown reason we open our eyes even though it hurts it ruins the job and we were told not to (?!)
We both eat the same foods and neither of us can make jelly set

Not make jelly set? As in the packet stuff? That is odd! I found out that I have a really very freakishly small PD (distance between my pupils) which not many people besides chrildren have. Learnt recently that this is my Mum’s fault. Meh, I guess I will forgive her!

Yeah packet jelly. Who knows why I follow the directions property it can takes DAYS to set I’ve even tried putting it in the freezer *blush* the kitchen hates me…
I have health problems from my Mother and my legs are bigger, bigger then the top half of me. Thanks Mum. At least I’m strong though’
